Making things for The Maker's glory

Think about a field of colorful flowers, swaying gently on a mountaintop meadow, the crisp spring breeze blowing through your hair. Butterflies flutter from stalk to stalk, dancing along to the song of the birds under a cerulean sky.

Doesn't it make you want to run and explore, jump and play? Don't you wish it could be like paradise all the time?

Yeah, us too.

God, the designer of all things, made us with a deep desire for beauty. He made everything perfect and beautiful in the beginning- but we rebelled against God and broke the world... unable to be with Him in His perfect world any longer. As a result, He made us with a God-shaped hole in our souls- and every time we hear a wonderful piece of music, or see a masterpiece, or experience gorgeous, natural scenery, we sadly have to leave it eventually. Afterwards, we are all left with this sense of longing. Trying to reach that state of bliss again. Deep down, we know- we were meant for more.

In His mercy, The Creator left some of the neat stuff for us to enjoy even though we all screw up constantly. As The Bezalel Brothers, we want to replicate that as best we can, and in doing so, wake others up to the fact that Earth is not our home. There's a heaven waiting for us, with colors our eyes can't see and beauty our brains can't imagine- and the only way to get there is through trusting in Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is our Lord (although He's really Lord of everything)! As His artists, we aim to proclaim God's glory in all that we make- telling others about His truth with eye catching designs and heart-moving stories. We pray He uses us to bring people to Him- so unbelievers may know His love, and believers know Him more!

"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things."

Our Story

We believe that the Bible is God's Word. It's inerrant, and it's one of the chief ways God speaks to us, if we're listening.

Our business started with a young man reading his Bible. He read Exodus 36, concerning Bezalel the artisan, and heard God telling Him that He wanted him to use the artistic talents he had for His glory- and so the young artist prayed! He prayed that Jesus would show him the way to go... and God laid the desire upon his heart to start a Christian art/project/content making company, to shine bright amongst (and against) all the garbage being produced and filling people's minds!

After a few prayers and a few words of encouragement from others, the adventuring artist decided to print some stickers to see how people would react. After giving them to his friends and getting positive reactions, he was feeling pretty confident. But then his prayer was answered in a way he never saw coming. Someone reached out to him to ask if they could sell them in their shop! However, that fell through, and the whole thing stopped for a while. Work got in the way, and the artist became unsure if it was what God really wanted, or if he was just hearing what he wanted to hear.

Until God's Word reminded the artist of the vision He gave him. One night, tired and desperate, this young man read 1 Chronicles 2, hoping God would give him any sense of which path to choose next. Unexpectedly, he stumbled upon Bezalel's name once more (verse 20)! God graciously reminded him of his calling, and encouraged him to take a step of faith then and there.

Thrilled, the artist started out again. He started creating, taking classes, finding out how to set up shop, and letting others know. And that's where we are now! Just a couple o' nobodies stepping out in faith, trying to follow the Lord's calling for our lives.

Together, The Bezalel Brothers still pray that if God wants them to keep going in this direction, He'll show them favor!
